Welcome one and all to issue number four. There won’t be a lot of waffle from your humble narrator this week. I have been up to my proverbial neck in work, so I’m just going to dive right in, and hand it over to the bloggers and their latest work.
First and foremost. If anyone can offer any advice/help to a Pakistani apostate who finds themselves in a dire situation. Their family is making ties with Islamic State, and no doubt will be expected to join as well.
Please read, share, and reply with any advice or help, in @NiceMangos latest blog.
A big shout out to the newest blogger to join the ranks, Cyber Atheist, and this wonderful post about Discworld. Of course, I know some of you believe the late great Terry Pratchett is God, and I hate to burst your bubble, but he is not the messiah, he’s a very naughty boy. That mantle belongs to the later and greater Douglas Adams.
Next up, Godless Mom flicks the bird at those “regressives”, and tells them how it is.
Talking of apologists that love to attack…and ignore evidence of course. @GSpelchecker spells out a ‘foot in mouth’ moment for Dean Obeidallah in his accusations of Sam Harris.
@jenthehumanist has posted a video of Neil DeGrasse Tyson waxing lyrical about death, and living for the now.
@journalofmokita contemplates the soul.
@thereallucydee dances with the ghosts of her past, in a macabre dance that not only highlights the pain and suffering, but also shows her strength and resolve to push through the nightmares.
And finally, Dylan Raines has been out enjoying the Bellingham WA countryside from the back of a mobile home.
Well thanks for checking out what’s happening in the world of blogging. If you’re a blogging atheist, secular humanist and would like your work featured here, then give me a shout, and I’ll add you to the reading list. Until next week,
L’Humanité sans Frontières.
